c1900 Stoneware Red Wing Beehive Jug, 5 Gallon with 2 Birch leaves.
Bottom marked with the Red Wing logo. This likely held water and was corked.
Zinc glazed outer surface.
Two small chips to the outer surface only of neck rim - can easily be restored. No other marks or damage anywhere. Found on country roadside in Quebec early 1960's. Probably fell off a wagon.
