Miniature Oil Lamps have been marketed and used for over 100 years. Also known as "fairy lamps", this type uses lamp oil instead of burning a candle. This has the original brass burner, with a ceramic base and glass globe. Retains the pencil wick, however the burner needs cleaning before it is ready to use. Stands 8 inches high with applied handmade rose decorations. Good condition once cleaned, marked from Japan early 1950's.
