Miniature Oil Lamps have been marketed and used for over 100 years. Also known as "fairy lamps", this type uses lamp oil instead of burning a candle. This has the original brass burner, china base and glass globe. Retains the pencil wick ready to use. Stands 6 inches high on 3 feet with applied flower decal and 18k gilded decorations. Very good condition from Japan early 1950's.
